Corporate sustainability is about responsibly managing all the elements that make up our business: our stakeholders, our corporate governance, the community and the environment.

BTFG has six key corporate sustainability objectives

   Play our part in Australia’s transition to a carbon and water-constrained economy through products, services and partnerships, supporting carbon and water markets, and funding renewable energy, clean technology and energy efficiency

   Lead the sector with our direct and indirect environmental footprint targets
   
   
4. People and places – Social sustainability
   Raise the bar on social sustainability, including responsible banking and investment, and bringing our experience in investment to bring to bear on what matters to local communities
   
   
5. Sustainable products and services – Going mainstream
   Incorporate sustainability principles into our products and services to connect all our customers to these issues in a new way
   
   
6. Sustainable business practices – Speaking out
   Stepping up our efforts to encourage the uptake of sustainable business practices
