We will also be prioritising and fast-tracking cash withdrawal transactions (including Financial Hardship and Compassionate Grounds) for Super, Pension and Investment Clients across all BT products.

Support for Westpac and St.George Home & Contents Insurance customers

Westpac and St.George Home and Contents Insurance covers loss or damage as a result of Cyclone Yasi or the recent floods, and we want you to know that assistance is just a phone call away. So if you’re impacted by these events, you may be eligible for emergency funding and temporary accommodation.

  • For Westpac the fastest way to claim on your policy is to call us on 1300 369 989; even if you haven’t been able to return home.
  • St.George claims 1300 655 489.
  • Assessors will also be available to ensure immediate attention and a speedy turnaround of claims.

    St.George has activated special emergency assistance to assist customers affected by the floods and Cyclone Yasi. We have set up a special hotline for affected customers with banking enquiries: 1300 769 578.

Cover for cyclone and flood is subject to a 5 or 28 day exclusion period from the commencement date of cover.
